The PokeGear is an electronic device which is handed out to all members of the Pokémon League. It was first created by Silph Co but it is now mass produced by the Pokemon League. The PokeGear contains internet connection, the time, maps, acts like a cell phone, and has numerous downloadable apps and games.
The PokeGear is handed out to every member of the Pokemon League. It is required to own as most battle outcomes are recorded by PokeGear. Before the battle begins, trainers set their PokeGear with each others. After it, the trainers connect them again and the outcome is recorded into the League database.
The PokeGear also functions as a Pokedex. | |
