If the world in this roleplay was like that of the Pokemon games, or at least the older ones, it would be pretty chaotic.

Every city and town in this roleplay world has whatever stores/buildings are necessary to the town. For example, Pallet Town is not composed of 2 houses and a laboratory but rather numerous houses, a local convenient store, a grocery store, maybe a bank, and probably a police station.

Also there are roads and highways connecting every city and town, like in the real world.
