Personality: He is fun and outgoing. Percival likes adventuring and meeting new people, he is extremely social. He has over 30,000,000 followers on Twitter, which he post on nearly every 5 minutes. He is always on his iPad. It takes a lot to anger him, as he always makes jokes out of everything. He also enjoys mischief and pranks, similar to the nature of his Pokemon.

History: Percival was born on the tropical island of Dewford, Hoenn. His family was fairly wealthy, not rich, but good enough to pay the bills and get Percival the things he wanted. He received his first Pokemon when he turned 10 and signed up with the Pokemon League, the Professor from Dewford met with Percival a few days after he had signed with the League. Percival went to the laboratory and got a Seedot. Percival immediately fell in love with his Seedot.
He attended high school like a normal child and teenager. When he was 14, he already had a Nuzleaf, and he went on a vacation to Viridian City. He was awarded Viridian Gym's Badge, and after going to the Gym there, he decided he wanted to be a Gym Leader. After deciding he wanted to be a Gym Leader, he thought of all the tropical Pokemon that were in Dewford. When he returned, he caught a Tropius.
He turned 17, and was still in High School. During the summer, he went to visit his Grandparents in Lilycove City. He watched Champion Alastair in a Pokemon Contest. After the show, he went back to his Grandparent's house and was surprised when Alastair walked in.
Alastair turned out to be related to them, through marriage. He found out Percival shared an interest in Pokemon battling. The month that Percival stayed at his Grandparents changed his life. Alastair was aware that a new gym leader was needed in Kanto, and he introduced Percival to the Champion of Kanto. Percival was sent to Kanto and trained in the specialization of grass-type Pokemon. He became the leader of Celadon Gym when he was 18. He moved to Viridian City when the new road between Viridian City and Celadon City opened, as he found Viridian Forest to be a very good place to train his grass-type Pokemon.
